Plant Testing and Verification
To ensure safety we regularly maintain and repair all of our equipment and each of our machines is independently tested and verified annually by Bureau Veritas.
Additionally, we ensure that all plant hire items are supplied with fire extinguishers and first aid kits.
Plant Operator Certification
When you hire our equipment with an operator you can be assured that they have a full Certificate of Professional Competence (CPCS) and are regularly trained to maintain their CPCS certification.
Safety Devices
Miller Mate Twin Lock automatic hitches are installed on all of our Excavators and our JCB Tractor.
Miller Mate ensures the safe and correct operation of a quick coupler during the attachment changeover process and minimises the potential risks to those working in the vicinity of the machine.
As of 2017, we have begun installing 360-degree cameras on machines, 13 tons upwards along with green belt beacons.
